ROAR Sports: PMS Girls Dominate the Field with 9–0 Win!

Talk about making a statement! The PMS female football team didn’t just win their match against St. Mary’s Secondary School (SMSS)—they owned the field, walking away with a massive 9–0 victory that had fans roaring with pride.

From the first whistle, it was clear PMS came to play. Our girls moved like a well-oiled machine, keeping the ball dancing between their feet while SMSS barely caught a breath. The scoreboard lit up again and again, proving that PMS doesn’t just participate—we dominate.

Special shout-out to the unstoppable duo: Roleesha “RoRo” Humphreys and Karmiella “KK” Hughes. RoRo brought her usual flair, weaving through defenders like they were traffic cones, while KK’s precision and cool-headed finishes had the crowd cheering every time the net shook. Together, they were a nightmare for SMSS and a dream for PMS supporters.

But let’s not forget the rest of the squad. From rock-solid defense to midfielders who never stopped hustling, every single player contributed to this blowout victory. It wasn’t just about talent—it was about teamwork, energy, and a whole lot of PMS pride.

With a win like this, the PMS female football team has set the bar sky-high for the rest of the season. Opponents, consider this your warning: our girls aren’t just here to play; they’re here to rule.

So raise your PMS banners, blast that school spirit, and get ready—the roar of our female football champions is only getting louder!

Buzz in the Pridelands: Last Game, Last Drama!

By Liz Anya

Hold onto your edges Cubs, because Wednesday’s final game of the season was straight out of a teen drama series! The girls under 20 football team “beauty and shellhead” may have taken the win against AGHS (3–0, thank you very much), but the real action was off the field with the naysayers in the stands.

Regardless of how hard we work, there are always people whose life work is to live to hate on our pink and grey. How hard is it to say congrats and shake hands with a good face? Congrats to the Striker who finally found a space on the field to score the first goal of the afternoon. As well as the wing who put aside her tumbling skills to score two more!!

Meanwhile, Coach T was seen having an intense post-game chat with Principal CG. Rumor has it there may be big coaching changes next season. I hope they know what they are doing.

Still to come the 70th anniversary celebrations. Will the oldies outshine the current?

Season’s over, but the gossip? Oh, it’s just getting started. Stay tuned, cubs and rest up! You know I will.

“They Not Like Us”

The Princess Margaret School aims to prove today, tomorrow and the day after that just why we are the “Home of Champions”. It’s that time again where school rivalries meet at the Interschool Track and Field Athletics Championships and secondary schools islandwide are sending their best to do battle. However, the reigning champs from Princess Margaret School are once again the team to beat and our athletes are primed and ready to defend and retain their previous glory. Come out and support our cubs as they move like lions on and off the track March 7th, 8th and 9th, 2025 at YASCO.
